Properties: corn grits are rich in vitamins Е, РР, В1, В2 and provitamin A (carotene). They contain a plenty of fibre and two essential amino acids - tryptophan and lysine. Besides, these grits contain some minerals, in particular ferrum and silicon.
Shelf life: 10 months.
Use: corn grits are perfect for cooking milk porridges, sweet desserts and meat cuts. They are also used for cooking polenta (an Italian dish).
